Just okay. Went here with my wife to try something different – 7 Feb 2015. Didn’t start well. Waited about 3 or 4 minutes to get seated – the place was not very busy. Think one of the busboys sat us. Then waited another 4 or 5 minutes for a waitress to take our drink orders. We had no menus yet. She finally brought back out drinks and menus about another 5 minutes later. At this point, about 9 or 12 tables were filled, with 4 waitresses to take care of those 9 tables. Another 5 minutes, and we ordered. (20 minutes or so into this). My wife and i both ordered the tomato soup – it was pretty good. Her entree, the Fried Shrimp Basket was bland and rather tasteless. My entree – the Fried Scallop Basket was just the same – bland. Also, small scallops and not that many. Overall not worth the time or money. We don’t need to go back. Save your money for Saltwater, Shrimp Boat or Ferruci’s. If you want to spend a little less, go to Kobe or El Jalisco,

Service very friendly. This is a great place for locals. Fried shrimp good. Coleslaw is different and very good. Just beer and wine. A lot of locals there for catfish. Make sure you have directions to find resturant.
Wonderful Spot. Dining alone? Come here and sit at the bar. Order some wine. Enjoy friendly conversation with the staff. Look around at all the local repeat customers enjoying themselves. Order the grouper with some local peas, collard greens, etc. as sides. Leave totally satisfied and wishing this place was in your town.
This is THE best local spot! Shrimp and grits are amazing! Great service and atmosphere. If you have a larger group 5+ call ahead and they will make the seating happen!
We have tried several seafood restaurants while visiting from Nashville TN & Sue’s is the best seafood by far-6 people & all pleased!!! :0)
