We really enjoyed our visit. Food and service were great. My son loved the playground area on the beach. We’ll definitely be return customers if we ever return to the area.

Overpriced frozen seafood! Horrible! The raw oysters were served warm- everything else( crab cakes, fried fish) tasted like pre-packaged food. You are obviously paying to eat beach front. Will pack our lunch next time.
Lots of improvements, try it again. I admit this place used to have a lousy reputation. We tried it again and have not been disappointed, that’s why I’m surprised that a previous reviewer had a bad time so recently. Hey, stuff happens. The last two times we’ve been to Toucan’s (twice in a month) it’s been exceptional. Wonderful service and delicious, reasonably priced food. I had a grilled fish sandwich and salad once and a flatbread creation with grilled fish, veggies, and feta the previous time. We also had an appetizer of frickles (fried pickles) that we enjoyed. In my opinion, you can’t beat the view. Yesterday we brought friends visiting from outside Atlanta and we sat by the water at Toucan’s and watched a thunderstorm roll in. We all considered it a perfect lunch!
To each his own, I love Toucan’s!. My husband and I have been to Toucan’s twice and we’ve really enjoyed it. The last time we went the waitress was amazing. She was polite and the type to be there right when you needed her and not intrude when you didn’t want her around. When my husband and I ride over to Mexico Beach for the day we’ll make it a point to stop here when we’d like good drinks and good food!
Stopped because Killer Seafood wasn’t open. Nice atmosphere. Prices typical but found mahi special lower priced than others in area. Had Greek salad and it had three shrimp and plenty of crab. Was slow day but staff attentive and polite. It’s for tourists but what we tourists like.
