Worst service…ever! A couple sandwiches during weekday lunch hour should not take over an hour! The food is diner food…trying to be fancier than it needs to be. Get rid of the tablets…electronics do not necessarily mean improved service, especially when the servers can’t work them and are showing their frustration in front of the customers.
The Caron’s. We had heard about Charlie’s Diner and finally tried it this week for lunch. We are Jax natives and raised with Southern roots, so we loved the country veggies, the brisket was to die for, and the country fried steak and gravy. We will definitely visit here again, hopefully next time for breakfast.

Charlie’s Diner Great food and service. I am a regular at Charlie’s Diner for several reasons. The food is always fresh and delicious. When I walk in the door, I am always warmly greeted. The service is great! I really haven’t had anything that I disliked, but the BBQ is extra delicious and the sauces are unbeatable.
