  I give up on this place.. Changing my former glowing review from a 9/10 to a 2/10. Why the drop you ask?I was a big fan of this place, but my last 3 trips were very disapointing. A sign that the business is failing, they cut too many corners on the dishes i.e fried rice was presented as nothing but sticky rice sprinkled with soy sauce, like I wouldn’t know the friggin difference. One day the owner didn’t show up til 11:00AM so no prep was done in advance, and the hot and sour soup (normally the star of the show) had raw veg in it. Last night was worse, a $30 tab for just myself, and most items were inedible. The hot n sour soup was not its usual 5 star dish, I had to fix it by adding veg and an egg. It was basically a chicken soup with vinegar. The shrimp lo mein looked like it had canned shrimp in it, and no veg… just a lot of noodles. It was awful. I wound up throwing out most of the box of goodies I brought home, and oh oh the egg rolls LMAO Remember when egg rolls would be bursting with veggies and stuff, well have you ever had an egg roll that was filled with AIR? Well this is where you go for Air Rolls, and for $1.25 apiece!I am done defending this guy, Quick Chinese across from Winn Dixie is a better value anyway. For $30 at Quick Chinese you get enough food to feed a family of 10… for 3 days. Goodbye China Hut, all good things right.

  Worst Chinese takeout in Jax.. (Updated 5/17/2012) I used to love this place, been there dozens of times. But in the last year the owner has cut too many corners and the quality of the food has suffered dramatically, its terrible. I didnt believe JT when he said the egg rolls were now full of air, but he’s correct. What a rip off, and the prices are way out of line for what you get. Quick Chinese across the street is much better.
