Good gyros. Good, fresh food. They also know how to do crispy fries.
Used to love this place. Now, not so much. Problems are: Change in quality – lower. Change in prices – higher. Today ordered our usual Greek salads with chicken to go. Chicken tasted horrible. It was chewy and flavorless. Must have been improperly stored overnight. Salads cost more than wraps and bowls. Lettuce was not fresh and not properly shredded or chopped for salad serving. Sampled the falafel that was good but also expensive as salads have become.14 Sep, 2014Fabulous fresh food! We eat here at least once a week since finding it.
FYI. The picture on the door, as you come in, states gyro pita and fries for $5.95. The meat in the picture is lamb. The special is for chicken.
Great restaurant near the theatre. What a delightful treat we had. Everything was fresh,tasty, and healthy. I loved it. I tried the plate with a sample of everything and was not disappointed. Their homemade hummus and cucumber sauce was excellent as well as their eggplant dish and the steak, lamb and chicken dishes. We are so glad they moved into the neighborhood. It is a great place for a quick bite before or after the movies.
This place is my new best friend! Offering a simple menu loaded with flavor at a price anyone will be happy with, Chobn will not disappoint! Gyro (lamb rotisserie) wraps are nothing short of amazing and the plentiful portions are perfect to share, especially if you add a side of hummus or tsatziki with pita! Service is fast and friendly, quickly accommodating every guest within minutes. Dining-in guests are served a complimentary, petite glass of Turkish hot tea to finish. Oh!!! And, did I mention CLEAN?!?!!! Stop by and enjoy or take it to go!
Food was good. Staff friendly. Pretty small seating area for those wanting to dine in. High top tables not really user friendly. Overall not bad. Will rotate this place occasionally into our lunch schedule. B. thanks
