Old style good. Friendly staff, old time feel. a little wait for the food but it was hot and yummy!
Deerwood Deli & Diner Review. If you want breakfast anytime of the day or a friendly waitstaff, then this is the place. I saw some bad quality comments – well, this is not Native Sun with all organic, non GMO food; this is a diner and truly lives up to that. The environment has great, classic music with photos of everyone from the 60s and 70s on the walls. I love experiencing this place (and do at least once a week). I highly recommend this place.
Simple and Good!. Keep it simple stupid is a saying that in many cases is appropriate. Deerwood Deli and Dinner is the epitome of this saying. So many places try to be something they should not be but Deerwood Deli stays true to their mission and without a doubt is a hit. Todays lunch crowd was busy, but it is not overly loud, nor do you feel crowed at the tables. Today I had a simple BLT what a great sandwich! Bacon was cooked perfect for me (your tastes may vary), the tomato was outstanding, and lettuce was crisp and on toasted white bread with mayonnaise, nothing more nothing less. I have had others try fancy breads, different lettuces but in the end just keep it simple is the best. I have also had breakfast here before as well as a Reuben. All have been enjoyed. Nothing was over presented or something it should not have been. If you find yourself in Deerwood please stop by and try this place.
Terrible. Words can’t describe how nasty my experience was here. The chicken tenders are over processed and faker than anything you’d be served by McDonalds. Don’t waste your time at this place.
Came here for brunch and got the Diner Breakfast. Delicious without a doubt. Best part of the meal was the dollar size pancakes! They were so fluffy and so full of flavor!
Like It. We have eaten at the Deerwood Deli numerous times over the years and the service and food is always the same-good! Today my chicken salad melt was tasty with more meat than filler and the pasta salad with feta was oh-so-good! My hubby had the beef, bacon and cheddar sandwich which was piled high with ingredients on a soft bun. I am glad some things never change.
The breakfast is really good. They get really busy on Sunday around 11:00 am so I would come before 10 or after 12. Other than it taking a while to get food or table it’s goid
