Corned beef sandwich was passable. Rye bread was really a marble bread and it was cake like in texture and taste. Side was a tiny cup of fruit salad, the size ketchup is served it. Half a sandwich was $7.00, I won’t go again.
The Mandarin location is selling sodas without having inventory. Soda machine is giving you soda water. You go to the cashier to claim the money back and they say they know but never tell you that before. That is deceiving. Asked for water. That have not either. Shame on them. Never again!!!!!!!!!!
SUPER small sandwich sizes. Basically, you get a half a sandwich. When this place first opened, the portions were acceptable. It appears they have reduced the sandwich to half its original size and adding a tiny side. It’s not worth it. I won’t return and warn all those who work in that area to stay away.
Definitely would recommend and go back. Staff super friendly and the food was great!
Wonderful! Best New York style Deli in Jacksonville area. We showed up at closing and they opened up and made the best pastrami and Swiss on rye I have had outside of Carnegie Deli in Manhatten! Please support these great folks!
Really Good Deli. We were really happy with our lunch at Gandolfo’s Deli. The New York Yankee was very good and very filling. The sandwich was stacked high with ham and the warm, crispy, buttery, toasted marble rye bread was delicious. There was no skimping! My hubby had the Little Italy (whole sub) and really liked the soft hoagie roll. His sandwich was also piled high with meat and he left happy and full–which some times doesn’t happen when we eat at other places. The prices are a little higher but the ingredients seemed to be of a higher quality. They offer a lot of items on their menu so it was a little confusing at first because the subs are listed as either whole or half and the prices listed only reflect one designated size but you can get all of the subs either way. When my husband asked about the upcharge for a whole sub the staffer seemed unsure so it might be helpful to have the prices for all sizes listed. Although there was the confusion about the menu the staff was friendly, and the restaurant was very clean with the tables being cleared/cleaned immediately when diners left.
Excellent!!!. Best sandwiches in town and exceptionally clean. Will be back for sure.
