My experience here was wholly underwhelming. The drinks menu was less than impressive, and the starter salad and bread were rather bland. My steak was flavorless and cooked too much. From the menu prices, I was expecting higher quality food and a better dining experience than what I actually had. After hearing rave reviews from family and friends, I am at a loss as to why this establishment is held in such high regard in their minds.If you want a good quality steak meal for comparable (or cheaper) prices and a less pretentious atmosphere, go to The Keg, Fogo de Cho, or anywhere else really.

1st visit, will be back soon. Made company Christmas party reservations from a personal recommendation. After reading some of the negative reviews on Zomata i was a little nervous. In my opinion:The restaurant is beautiful, elegant and extremely unique for Jacksonville. I loved the dining area broken into smaller intimate sections. We had a party of six and four of us would consider ourselves to be very Foodie. 6 out 6 loved the entire experience. Food was prepared to perfection. Can’t wait to get back.
