I have been coming here for 4 years now. My boss introduced me to this place. I LOVE the lunch buffet! This is some of the best Indian food I’ve had in Jacksonville, Florida. And they are consistent!!!! Trust me, not all of them are. It’s always clean, always flavorful and the staff are very sweet and attentive.
I started eating here in 2006 when it was under another name. What hasn’t changed is the incredible food they serve. The buffet is simply wonderful and they always have delicious choices. I usually just drink water at India House because the food has such flavor; they top it off with great deserts. If you like Indian food, this is the place for you. If you haven’t tried it, then treat yourself.
Good food, sometimes slow service.. I have eaten here probably a couple of dozen times, and the food has always been very good. The staff is a roll of the dice though; sometimes it has been fine, a few times Ive waited in access of ten minutes for my bill after asking for it. The lunch buffet is a good deal and the best way to find out what you like or dislike if you are not already familiar with Indian cuisine. Also, the booths are rather small. If you are a large person who is around six feet, youll find yourself shuffling your chair to get in and out.

Horrible food and worst service ever. I am a south indian and i tell this. it is the worst food i have ever seen. We ordered a egetable biriyani and to my surprise i had chicken pieces in it. I thought it was a mistake and gave it an another try to it and it turned to be some or the other problem always. this restaurant used to be great once upon a time but now it is in a very bad shape. one could bee happy eating a pizza rather than going here.
Just finished a delicious meal at India house- really enjoyed it. Although there are several excellent Indian restaurants in the area I think India house is the best.
