Decent food, poor service. I’ve been going to Julie’s Cafe for the past 8 yrs. I enjoyed both breakfast and lunch options, but in the past 4 months, their service has become very poor, and their menu is not able to balance out the frustration of trying to order. in the past 4 months I’ve gone in to order, I end up standing at the cash register for 10-15 minutes waiting for someone to take my order or pay (call ahead order). Either the cashier is busy talking to someone or feels that is more important to clean off tables in a mostly empty restaurant. Hopefully they will get better front-end help, but they lost a long time customer.
I’ve been Comming to Julie’s Cafe since I was a kid I’m 28 Now and still going there, Family owned , absolutely delicious food, true Middle Earstern dish’s , and one of the best Steak n a Sacks in town, a True Jacksonville Gem.
GREAT FOOD. We’ve been going here for years. The best steak in a sack, grilled chicken rider, AWESOME taboulih, friendly family owned business. Besides the great food the other great thing about Julies, is the cleanliness of their restaurant.
Great little family diner.. Vast menu and the prices are very reasonable, and the quality is always consistent. One of the things I like most about Julie’s is the solid collection of hot sauce they have stashed all over the place. They had me hooked on my first visit when I was looking around for a bottle of Crystal and lo and behold I spotted one. They could make some improvements however, the steak in a sack is sort of a let down. The steak is nice and tender, but its not been properly marinated and is somewhat dry. Still a treat and I eat there as often as I can get over to that part of town. If you find yourself down on Phillips Hwy I highly recommend this place.
Food is excellent, service fast but not always friendly.
I just went to this coffee shop and had a nice breakfast. Will come back again and to try Middle Eastern Food. Great service too!!!
