Different. We visited Mochi next to Shane’s and it was a bit choatic. Tons of kids getting sample after sample and very loud. Although moving thru the line was quick I just feel like there could be a little more order. Staff is friendly. There are many flavors and toppings to choose from. If you like a lot of topping you might want to be careful because it adds alot of weight and that can jack the prize up for a little cup of the frozen treat.

Just not good!!!. This stuff is vomitus and vile. I do not see the appeal of eating sour frozen yogurt.

Not sure what all the hype is about. I had mochi for the first time and thought it was good but not great. Everyone I had talked to raved about the place. I think it’s a great place to try but definitely not my first choice when I want a frozen treat.

It’s addictingly good!. Everyone at my office has been going gaga for Mochi for the last month or so, but having had the terrble frozen yogurt at a similar place on the northside (Yogurt City), I decided to pass. I finally caved yesterday and gave it a try. It is AWESOME. The store is small and packed, but the whole process goes very quickly. Make your way to the counter and ask for a couple of sample cups then head for the back wall. I believe there are about 8 flavors (maybe 10) to choose from. I tried the Dulce de Leche and the Coconilla. They were both fantastic, however since I am a Coconut finatic, I decided to go with that flavor. They both had that tangy yogurt flavor, so if you don’t like yogurt, you won’t like this. I happen to love yogurt! After getting my yogurt, I then made my way to the topping bar. They had every topping you could typically think of for ice cream plus an assortment of fruits. I tried the pineapple, strawberries, blue berries and kiwi. I loved everything but the pineapple. It was canned, not fresh. I then proceeded to the checkout and had my yogurt weighed. I believe it was around $4.15 for a little over 6 oz. That is expensive, but I guess no more expensive than getting icecream at Cold Stone or other yogurt places. It does melt REALLY fast in this heat, so I would suggest eating it pretty quickly. Mine didn’t even make it back to my office. Luckily it’s right around the corner, so I can feed my new (healthy!) addiction often. 🙂

Always leave happy.. This is a cute little place to get your yogurt on! I’m not sure if I agree with the last person who reviewed this place saying that its pricey. It really depends on how much yogurt you put in your cup and how much toppings you put in since it is about 45 cents an ounce. I can get more yogurt in one cup at Mochi for the same price as yogaberry that has less yogurt in a cup. Also this place is really hoppin at night. Its always full of people! Maybe they need another location in Jax? =)
