Love it!. My family and I went to Otaki last night for my birthday and we had a wonderful time! We had a big party and I was afraid they couldn’t accommodate us but we got in right away and our server Liz was impeccable, she was there for our every need!! She was sweet and caring toward all the children, even brought them chopsticks with rubber bands. Charlie, our cook, was thoroughly entertaining. He told jokes and did some tricks. There was so much food and it was delicious. Seasoned to perfection. We will definitely be back. Ask for Liz and Charlie!

But the other table said they got absolutely zero entertainment. No show at all. I would go back but I’d request the good chef.
Poor customer service My wi…. Poor customer serviceMy wife and I went in to order take out tonight. My wife had received a gift card1-2 years ago, but there was no expiration date noted on the card. We were told that the card was expired and they no longer use the specific card we had. We were told the new cards do have an expiration date. When we asked for the manager, she was apparently too busy to speak with us. However the restaurant was not busy at all. Very poor customer service and management. We will not be returning.
Poor Customer Service. We got a $50.00 gift card last summer and it does not have an expiration date on it, we attempted to come for lunch one Sunday afternoon but they were closed for lunch, since we live a little ways we just did not have a chance to use it right away, finally today we went and had dinner and our server said the card was expired. We paid but before we left I decided to talk to a manager, they said the manager was not in so a lady asked what she can do and told her about the gift card, she said she cannot do anything about it and was trying to call somebody, after waiting for a while waiting for her to finish the phone call, who she was calling I did not have any idea I just left and told her to forget it since we already paid our dinner. I think the lady if she was the manager needs to have a little lesson on good customer service,
Another excellent dinner. Best sushi in town. We sat outside with or dog and the service was the best I have had at any restaurant in a wile . Courtney did an excellent job
AMAZING. This is by far the best japanese steak house I have ever been to. We get dinner for two which includes chicken tempura, soup, salad, tons of shrimp, scallops, lobster tail, and 2 filet minons. We pay LESS then $50 EVERY time! Service is awesome, and the chefs are just wonderful. We were so lucky to find this hidden gem!
