Taco Salad was swimming in liquid. First of all, the phone # on this webiste for Salsas on PHillips Hwy is wrong. IT is the # for the one on Beach and Hodges. When I got to the place, I tried to order tacos Al Pastor and they did not have any, they ran out. So, I tried something quick and easy since I was on my lunch break. Taco salad with beef. There was a handful of lettuce and it was swimming in liquid.. Here is an idea for you Salsas,, when someone is getting a to go taco salad, maybe you dont want to put sour cream on top of hot items in an enclosed box, cause it turns to liquid and is nasty. If it was not the sour cream, then it was grease from the meat. Either way, not a good experience. I get Tacos Al Pastor once a week from La Napolera (farther away) and will just keep going there. Murphys law, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
Place looks great and that’s it. Our server didn’t check on us at all once we got our food, the rice tasted old and microwaved to death, and the steak, beef, and beans were bland. First/ last time.
Nice looking place. I wanted to like it but I don’t. They made the wrong margarita for my wife and mine was just ok. My super lunch with beef sucked. The fajita lunch was ok. If you go try that. We won’t be back.

Best Mexican in a long time. My fiance and I have eaten at a lot of Mexican restaurants, this one was the best we’ve eaten in a long time. Food was so good, salsa was very fresh and delicious. Huge portions, so you’re definitely not getting ripped off. I had the burritos guadalajara and he had the pollo fundita. We’ll be going back.
Bad First Impression. This location recently opened and we thought that since it was a second location they wouldn’t have any issues. The food was good but the seating and the service were awful. The tables are crammed into an area that is way too small for the amount of seats. Our server was absent throughout the meal and we had to stop other servers to ask for items. It is a shame since the food was pretty good. We had the tamal deluxe and the cheesesteak burrito. The food was very tasty, the portions were ample and the price was fair, but the other issues ruined our visit.
