Although I do not eat sushi, I can comment on the rest. If you are looking for Japanese food without the production, this will do just fine. We give it a thumbs up and they have that coke machine with 100+ options.

This place was founded on sacred ground during Native American occupancy and since then it has been home to Seasons of Japan the best god damn restaurant I have ever been to. This place changes lives with it’s bowls.

Really wanted to like it.. I wanted to like this place, because it would have been a convenient spot to go to for lunch or dinner. The food I had on the first visit was all wayyyy too salty! I think this place is a chain, and they should have made a better impression than they did. I took my kids with me to give them a second chance, and they did not like the chicken fingers, which were rubbery and dry. The rest of the food was like what you’d get in a food court Japanese grill.

I liked it.. But not loved it…. I ordered hibachi teriyaki chicken and shrimp. The teriyaki was soaked on my chicken, which was way too sweet. Rice and chicken was ok. Kinda dry… The food didn’t wow me as much as the atmosphere. The atmosphere and set up is great! I love how we were able to get unlimited shrimp sauce, steak sauce, and drinks. Which is a major plus compared to other Japanese restaurants where they can be super frugal with the shrimp sauce. I’d say my most favorite of all was the green tea!! Now that was yummy!! 🙂

Good option for sushi at St. John’s Town Center. Hibachi good also.

The food is embarrassingly poor quality. My spicy tuna roll had soggy rice and it was neither spicy nor did it contain any semblance of tuna. Completely flavorless. My boyfriend’s steak hibachi was made with stew meat and the fried rice was stale and flavorless. The redeeming factor were the shrimp dumplings, which were flavorful but lacked shrimp and were unlike any dumpling I’ve ever encountered. Everything here seems designed to be as cheap as possible, down to the individual condiment packets and heinous decor. Posters of Jacksonville and jazz music do not belong in an Asian themed restaurant.

Outstanding. Seasons of Japan is an excellent addition to the many restaurant choices in the St John’s Town Center. They have only recently opened and I have been there twice and twice I have been very impressed. It is larger inside than it looks from the outside and hosts a really nice, bright, upbeat decor. You walk up to the counter and the very patient, friendly staff will help you with your order. They will call your number and post it on a screen when it is ready, which is surprisingly quick for such quality food. The angus tender, juicy, perfectly seasoned and cooked steak is our favorite, but the grilled shrimp, chicken and vegetables are delicious as well. Even the rice and noodles are packed full of flavor. Great food with very reasonable prices will draw us back frequently. The sushi choices look amazing, so that is next on our list to try. I look forward to exploring many of the menu selections at Seasons.
