My boyfriend and I just ate here and loved it. We ordered their 3 roll special for 19.95! Which came with well over 20 choices of raw, cooked, or deep fried sushi, two soups, and one salad. Our order came to $21. The service was great. They were very nice and we did not have to wait for more than 10 minutes for our food. The sushi was very good as well. We had the Lobster roll, LA roll, and the local Baymeadows roll.
Dont waste you $$$. Went to The Sushi House at the town Center about 2 weeks ago with a groupon. The food was good. not Great but good enough to try it again. BIG mistake!!! ordered a Japanica roll which had rancid tempura crunch in it. We told the wait staff about it and the first waitress wanted to argue about it. We told them to do the right thing and taste it. They refused to try it. After a long discussion about the freshness of this rancid ingredient, we paid the bill and left. Never to return again. Too many choices in Jacksonville to deal with bad food, bad customer service, and bad wait service.Stay away from the Sushi House 2 at the ST Johns Town Center.
Unfortunately another dirty sushi house. My wife and i enjoyed this restaurant and have visited it a few times. We thought this was a good replacement for the St Augustine Rd restaurant that recently got a bad review on cleanliness. Better than I was expecting. I was really pleasantly surprised by this place. My wife and I ate here recently and when I first walked in, it was not very crowded for lunchtime. I got the sashimi lunch and thought that they had some of the best sashimi in town. The cuts of fish were thick and long-very generous. I also liked that they did not include the imitation crab as part of the sashimi count-most places in Jax do that for some reason and to me, that is not on the up and up. Imitation crab is not sashimi. The ginger salad was good, but just like every other sushi place I have been to. My wife really enjoyed the spicy tuna rolls. We will definitely go back.
Average…. Nice selection of rolls and a decent lunch menu. The service was very friendly and attentive. Overall Sushi House 2 is a nice place but pretty typical of most sushi restaurants in the area.
Town center’s sushi secret!. We have been coming here for about 2 years now. the wait staff always dotes on our kids. they are also very attentive and know the menu well! we usually do sushi and an entree from the hibachi. it comes out quickly whether it is busy (usually always is!) or not. i have never had any issues with the sushi–it is very fresh and doesn’t sit on our plates long! if you are visitng town center, skip wasabi and check out sushi house. they have delicious food and the price is right. we rarely go over $40 before tip! ( 3 ppl eating, we don’t get any alcohol)
I love this place!!! Nice Atmosphere, friendly staff and the food is fantastic. Not many Sushi House restaurants have the clear soup…THIS ONE DOES!!!!! Love it
