Tijuana Flats Lakewood Branch San Jose Blvd. by: David A. Lane. At lunch today I had the best service and large tossed fresh fish salad at the Lakewood area branch. The welcome i received from J.P. was much better than average, as he showed me an open seat and brought my chips and sauce varieties explaining them all to me since all this was new to me.My server Brittany, gave excellent service and made sure I was satisfied with my selection and tea. Her pretty smile added to my appetite, so overall I was very happy with the choices that I made today.
Love this place!. I don’t know why the reviews aren’t in the 90’s because the food here is great, nice atmosphere, extremely friendly wait staff. It’s very popular, and I come here once a week. I usually get the fish tacos, but last week got the black bean quesadilla and it was delicious also! Try it, you’ll like it!
Good, fresh food. Went there today for lunch with a friend and we were both impressed. The food and the staff were above average. They were friendly and attentive, and even made a point of opening one of the front doors to say goodbye as we passed by after exiting the other. It’s the little things yeah? Music was a touch loud, but not conversation killing like so many places today. Overall they’ve definitely earned a spot on my ‘list’!
This place happens to be right across the street from my apartment complex, and oh boy it happened to be an amazing find! We ordered take out tonight and was told at peak hours out food would be ready in 15 minutes! Needless to say, the food was priced right and delicious! I look forward to the weekly specials they host!
Love the atmosphere!. Always such a diverse crowd of adults, young people, families and friends, i love coming here because i feel like i’m welcome, even when my friends get a little rowdy.. in fact the staff seem to relish in the diversity from table to table.. i usually only get like chips and queso or salsa because i’m a vegetarian, but coming here to hang out with friends and be accepted is worth the $5ish bucks i spend there.. 🙂
Love this place!. The staff and the scene are very entertaining and welcoming! They do their best to keep you happy and your drinks full! Great place for the family or friends!
Just in Queso You Were Wondering… Tijuana Flats on Old Baymeadows has the absolute most courteous waitstaff and cashiers, and the most talented cooks. I have not yet had a single problem with any order and I’ve gone to this location almost every week for over a year with a group of friends and no matter how big the crowd gets, Tijuana Flats is always welcoming. I love my Taco Tuesdays!!
