This is, by far, the best hibachi restaurant in Jacksonville. It’s my son’s favorite type of food so we have been to them all. I love this place because they have the best ginger dressing and ginger sauce, period. I could drink the stuff. They also have the best clear soup, my family usually orders double. As for the main food, the shrimp is delicious. It’s always done right. I also enjoy the scallops! They also offer chicken, two kinds of steak, salmon, lobster and white fish. The one thing they don’t have is noodle option, however the veggies and rice are good. And last, they also offer sweet carrots – which is a tasty dessert! Their sushi is also really good and fresh – sometimes I order the rolls when we are at the hibachi table. And last…their spicy tuna and cucumber salad is a.m.a.z.i.n.g. Definitely a dish you crave!

They need to hire more cooks and servers. We waited over 1 hour for our food to be cooked. The servers did not check on us and we had to chase them down just for a straw. Only one bartender, so the wait for drinks was over 15 minutes, and this was on a Thursday night.

Hey! Do NOT waste your money here! We JUST had it and it was not good. We ordered (to go) the salmon, tuna and spicy scallop sushi pieces, plus the spider roll and the JB roll. The salmon and scallop were the only decent pieces. The other pieces just had a funky after taste. And I don’t know about you, but when I’m eating sushi I def don’t want any funkiness. Seriously, it’s RAW fish! was our first sushi experience. I wish it was a positive one bc it’s so close to our neighborhood, but we def won’t be going back. One bad time at a sushi place is one time too many. I just hope we feel okay tomorrow! Or in a couple of hours. Ugh.
Eh :/. Everything was mediocre. The sushi was warm and flavorless, the dishes are overpriced and our server was incredibly rude. Stared down at us like we were pond scum. besides that, the food was average but i had better at other places. this would be my first and only time there.
Go to LUNCH. It is the best value, I got the shrimp and steak hibachi for $10.95 and will easily eat it for 2 more meals. It is a mound of food. The chefs are entertaining and friendly, I have been here 8-10 times and have never been disappointed 🙂
