Went here for lunch on Friday and while the service, food and beer selection were all excellent, we did have one issue. We chose Whiskey Jax on the recommendation of a friend who raved about the Whiskey Blue chips, the Caprese Salad and the Full Monte Sandwich none of which were available on the lunch menu. The website should make clear that the lunch menu is very limited.

This is a safe haven for a Kentucky native…bourbon and whiskey everywhere! Laid back vibe, dimly lit, with live music and a cool crowd. Definitely a repeat!

Our drinks were not filled up often. it was slow inside restaurant. It took one hour for our food to finally arrive. When finally received our food the burger was over cooked burnt and bread was so hard you could use for baseball, the bread was also burnt . All the food was over priced.

Looking forward to going back!. Went on a Sunday afternoon. Ordered the Mac & Cheese appetizer and a Monte Cristo. The Mac & Cheese was phenomenal! It was enough for a meal! The Monte Cristo may have been a little over-constructed. I think breading in panko and then deep-frying causes it to absorb a little too much of the grease. But it was still awesome. They clearly use high-end meats and cheeses. The sandwiches come with a side as well. I had the red potatoes, which come ‘smashed’ and garlic-y. Delish! Way too much for one meal – plenty to take home and nosh on later. I highly recommend and will definitely be going back. (If you like Blues, they have live bands every weekend – and they keep their website up-to-date!)12/15 UPDATE: No more Monte Cristos! Waiter said people ask for it all the time. Not sure I understood the manager’s explanation. Something abou it being too popular (???). But he was very nice. Mac & Cheese w/ Lobster was great! Lots of lobster. Still craving Monte Cristo though!

Would You Like Tonights Special. We have visited several times and have never been disappointed. Last visit we tried the evening specials which were amazing…especially the chocolate moist gooey cake! Enjoy the atmosphere
