Specialty baked goods: Brownies. We love Maggie Mae’s. We love the servers (Alison, Ashley), the hosts (Mark and Omar) and everything on the menu – without fail. Seriously. Yesterday morning we picked up a brownie after our meal, since they were displayed right next to us at the counter, and promised to report how well they served in an ice cream sandwich. I took a picture but, eager to taste-test, I forgot to focus. The ice cream was melting (I had coffee, my husband had mint chocolate chip) and we had to eat them as fast as we could. FABULOUS and fudgy! I would use ice cream that hadn’t just ridden home from the ice cream store next time, so I could savor the experience.
