Spoiled birthday. I was at angelinos for dinner tonight for my birthday. When we arrived we were 15 minutes early and we were sent to the bar to wait even though there were a lot of empty tables. We sat at the bar and the two girls who were working behind the bar never came near us. When we first sat down there was a couple next to us having drinks. The man was dipping his toothpick into the olives for the drinks and no one said a word to him. Won’t you just love to get an olive from that batch for your drink. When they left another couple sat in their seats and got waited on very quick. We are still sitting there with no service. When we made a commit and said we also we would like a drink the person behind the bar said the people seats we were sitting in just left. Right that was 20 minutes ago. You spoiled my birthday and I will not recommend this restrauant to any of our friends. Thanks angelinos for spoiling my birthday!!!!
I’m amazed by the poor reviews. Angelina’s is my favorite restaurant in SWFL. Yes it is on the pricey side, but the food and service are excellent. Meals average around $25 and much of the menu is a la carte. If you are trying to be thrifty, this is not the place for you. If you like to get dressed up for a night out with great food and exceptional service, you will not be disappointed. Enjoy.
Great customer service.. It’s for rich people who want their ass kissed and the table crumbed. If that’s you, then get your ass over there. They used to have a smokin’ hot hostess but she quit. Haven’t been in a while though so they may have some new talent. The food is really nothing unbelievable. Classical Italian- American cuisine. You can get food that is just as good at Carrabba’s.

25% Gratuity automatically added to checks!. NOT RECOMMENDED! We just dined at this restaurant and were automatically charged 25% gratuity! There was just the two of us and our 4 year old! Since when does a restaurant apply 25% gratuity on the bill, automatically??? Well, this place does. Disgusting! We choose the gratuity, not Dan the waiter. I would have left around 18%. That is my choice and I do not accept the waiter making such a decision for me. This is not a fine dining establishment, the food is not the greatest and the service is not the best. Overpriced? Yes! There are better places such as the Ritz Carlton and The Capital Grille near by. We would never go back here and we would never recommend this place. Enter at your own risk and be prepared to line the waiter’s pocket with plenty of $$$ ! Very much over-rated and over-priced. I will end this review on those last 5 words.
