BERNWOOD GRILLE, Bonita Springs, Fl. I have had two occasions recently to visit and dine at Bonita’s Bernside Grille; each time I was delighted with food, pleased with the friendly staff and impressed with the excellent service. On each visit, I have had owner Ron’s homemade soups: Italian Chicken Noodle and New Orleans Gumbo. Oh my gosh, my mouth is watering in memory of how delicious they were. On my second visit, I had one of Ron’s specialties: Greek Gyro on peta bread with all the fixings. Having grown up in that Greek conclave of Astoria, NY, I have a special affinity for gyros; the Bernwood Grille’s gyro was every bit as good as the ones I remember from my school days. 5 Stars for this superb restaurant, its friendly staff, competent speedy service, and excellent cuisine!George Egan, Bonita Springs resident.
Have been going to Bern wood Grille@ Catering Co since they have opened. The new feature menus are extrodinary good. Especially the Greek omlet. Prices are good and always have a good experience. I wish they would open more for dinners.There catering is second to none. Butler passed apps to a pick up PARTY I had for 45 people were as good as it gets and quite a value. Great food,reasable prices,Good service!. We have visited the Bernwood Grille & Catering Co several times over the last few months. The food has always been outstanding and service well above average. I am really a fan of there sausage gravy and there special french toast breakfast with fresh berries and whipped cream. I found out about them at a catered event and was very pleasantly surprised! Also tried there in season dinners on weekends and found the prime rib the best i have eaten anywhere.Prices again were really reasonable. Very hard to find but once you do you won’t forget. Good luck with off season. Two Thumbs up !
Yum yum yum yum yum! Eggs Benedict available with asparagus, fruit and hasbrowns is scrumptious! Comfortable and quaint grille with superb service. Enjoyed immensely.
