  OMG The best Grouper I’ve had in Florida. This was my familys first visit to Rodes Fresh and Fancy restaurant…I was told that it was a Bonita Springs landmark so we gave it a shot. I want start by saying that Rodes has the best Grouper Ive tasted in the sunshine state; this includes the FL Keys. You can just taste the freshness. Furthermore, my grouper was cooked to perfection, huge portion, creamy delicious coleslaw, and the black beans& rice were superb. The icing on the cake was the Key Lime pie! Love the old Florida feel and gift shop. The seafood market was stocked and FRESH; keep it up Rodes will be back soon. Thank you Rodes!!

  Me and my boyfriend just visited this restaurant and it was the best experience we have had at the beach so far. Great food and service. Our waitress was very welcoming and treated us like friends. I recommend this restaurant to seafood lovers. It’s not too crowded and a very nice setup.

  The food was really good BUT our table noticed how dirty the place was. The fans were caked with dust and the ac intake looked disgusting. I believe the managers need to get together and have a cleaning party with their employees. Who wants to eat at a dirty restaurant..if the eating area looks like that I wonder what the kichen looks like.

  The food is cafeteria-like and the service was unprofessional. I blame the restaurant management for not providing better training. For our party of 4, 3 appetizers came out but the 4th was delivered to the table after the other diners were finished with theirs AND after the salads were served. The entrees were brought to the table without clearing any dishes from the first course, requiring the server to set the entrees down on a neighboring table. One of the soup cups never was removed from the table throughout the meal. All 4 of us ordered grouper; 2 said it was overcooked and dry; another was bland. Truly the only good thing was the broccoli – it was fresh and properly steamed. All in all, a huge disappointment.

  Had their signature dish called grouper veracruz. We had never been here before.we were seated right away,and order some cocktails. i had a screw driver and the first thing i noticed was that they used fresh squeezed orange juice. it was really good. evidently there is a new chef there. who is supposed to be good. so my wife and i ordered the hose specialty. the grouper Veracruz. it was the best piece of fish Ive HAD IN MY LIFE.My wife sad it was yummy. cant wait to get back

  Mr Terry. The food is average and the service is consistently poor. I have visited this place now 3 times and this is definitely my last. They can’t be bothered to even try to provide decent service. They were out of prime rib and coconut shrimp, and did not bother to tell us until we had waited 10 minutes. Then when the food came, they only had one of the three baked potatoes. We were done eating when they finally came. We asked for the manager to comment on this and he indicated he was sorry but they were very busy on Saturday night. Very disappointing. Never offered anything until we asked for some consideration off the bill. He did give us 20 per cent off but totally ruined the evening.

  Average quality food.. This was better at it’s old location. It is now loud, average food and not worth your time.
