I love this place! I have been here several times and to celebrate many special occasions. The service is always top notch. They go out of their way to make your special occasion memorable. Sous Chef Nole is wicked talanted as well as Chef Sebastian. This is the only place here in SW FL. that does molecular gastronomy (that I know of) and it is the most amazing experience ever! You will not be disappointed. This is my absolute goto place for seafood, best in town!

Outstanding from the word go.. My wife and I enjoyed one of the best dinners we have ever had The food was absolutely wonderful. My wife had Shrimp which I swear was the size of a of a nickle in diameter and fingerling potatoes and I had a porkchop that was about an inch thick with a pear polenta. The service was awesome. Had to wait a little bit but that told me that is was cooked to order. The interior was very comfortable with candles on the tables making it very warm and homey. If you are at the Hyatt Coconut Point Resort make this a must place to eat but if you eat later in the evening make reservations. I would give the Tarpon Bay a 5+ star rating.

Who said there was nothing to do in Bonita Springs?. WOW! So my girlfriend and I took the weekend in Bonita Springs for some well deserved R&R. We were looking to lounge around and enjoy some fantastic grub. We had asked the hotel concierge about places to eat, and though we loved her personally, she began to spit out the standard concierge go-to’s. We’ve had Ruth Chris, Baleen’s (Coconut Grove), Roy’s to name a few. Sadly, she didn’t pitch us her hotel’s very own Tarpon Bay as a suggestion. So after a long day of not so fun in the sun (stayed out a little too long), we were looking to enjoy some more good seafood (THOROUGHLY enjoyed Truluck’s in Naples the previous evening). You’d be amazed as soon as you step into the restaurant. From the outside, it looks as if the hotel recreation room could have been housed in the building. The mood 180’s as the doors open, and you see the fresh, eye-catching raw and ceviche bar flanked by the chef’s table. As you salivate towards the bar to take a closer look, you see 17 different types of oysters and 8 different preparations of ceviche. Seafood lover’s paradise. We accepted the offer of a patio seat, where we walked out and saw a crocodile and pelican perched atop the pitching green in the lake, with an extraordinary sunset providing the perfect background to an excellent meal. We initially were looking for a restaurant that could satisfy a sudden urge for shrimp cocktail and raw oysters, which if I may WERE INDEED satisfied in high fashion. We also tried three of their ceviches (tuna, tropical, and peruvian), and the succulent lobster mac and cheese.I wanna complete this review with more mouth watering descriptions, but I’m craving another trip to the West Coast of Florida JUST to try everything else on the menu.
