After having great dining experiences last winter at Agliolio’ s in Boynton Beach we invited friends to join us for dinner Dec. 5th, 2017.What a dissapointment and embarrassment towards our good friends that were expecting a superior dining experience.The salad was well below the quality in comparison to our past experiences.We were not halfway through our salad when the main course dishes arrived.The usually excellent garlic bread was soggy soaking in butter.One of our friends pasta was overcooked, her husband’s pasta was soaking in the liquified sauce.My wife received a half portion in lieu of a regular size portion.Server never returned to our table to offer a coffee refill.Could the food quality and service during the beginning of the week is inferior to the weekend???I won’t be recommending Agliolio’s any time soon.
We SHOWED UP EARLY ABOUT 5:30 no wait to be seated we split calamari and banana pepper appetizer which was fresh very good. Calamari could have been drained a little longer was a bit greasy. She had stuff shrimp and linguine with clam sauce and I had a stuffed veal chop and angel hair pasta with Francese sauce. Pasta was cooked perfectly everything was very good. Service was good we were not rushed. Only problems, calamari was a bit greasy and while we were eating they were sweeping the floor around our table.We will return.
