Excellent, highly recommended!. After reading some of the reviews before going to Kimura Japanese Steakhouse, I wasn’t sure if we, a party of 6, would really enjoy going there to celebrate our grandson’s birthday. We were delighted with our chef, Yucif, as he prepared our food. Everything was delicious and just as we ordered. Cherry, our waitress, was very good and attentive as well. All in our party our looking forward to our next experience at Kimura’s.
At first the service seemed slow, but, wow! The good was fabulous! It seemed like most everyone there, not just at our table, had an excellent experience. And that yummy sauce! Our chef Sammy (pretty sure of the name) was topnotch. Filet cooked medium rare to perfection and the shrimp were perfect. Loved it!17 Jul, 2014Filet mignon and shrimp with fried rice. Excellent!!!
Horrible. Went there last night for my daughter’s bday…..what a horrible experience!! There customer service is like going to mcdonalds, although I truly believe that we would have been treated better at Mcdonalds. They also have a coupon on their website but don’t plan on using it as they wont let you!! This place has no business being in business!! As far as the food I ordered the scallops and asked him to cook them more with hopes they would taste better, after that I said they tasted bad and the manager said there was no way they only buy fresh seafood. She said she would take $4 off the bill and then when we gave them the coupon they told us we couldn’t use it as you cannot use it with any other offer. The other offer they claim was the $4 they took off for the bad scallops……Don’t waste your money on this place!!!!

Fresh sashimi. Ordered 2 plates of the assorted sashimi (chef’s choice) and it was marvelous. Very fresh and beautifully presented. Love the ambiance of this place! miamiculinarytours.com
Everything was perfect. Food was very good, Hibachi chef pleasant and entertaining. Plenty of people in the restaurant. Prices are reasonable and fair, in my view. We’ll be back!!
So-So. Went there last night and was disappointed. The hostess did not even know how to smile and it took her a couple of minutes to look up to see two people waiting. We ordered four different rolls to share and they were all good except for the tuna which did not taste fresh. I asked the waitress and she assured me it was (but still tasted fishy!). The others were delicious. We were almost done and still had 2 or 3 pieces on the plate when our waitress came over and started taking our plates away with the food and had to stop her and told her we wanted to finish it. Don’t they usually ask first??? We also ordered two glasses of wine and surprisingly the waitress took our emptied glasses and didn’t even bother if we would like another (which we did!). Of course she didn’t come back until we finished our meal. I’ve been here before,…always had a good experience but last night’s service could have been better.
