In really wanted to like this place. But I just couldn’t. The fried chicken on the buffet was juicy and tender but not hot..it went downhill from there…mashed potatoes were thin and obviously boxed, the chicken gravy had to be canned and the chicken and dumplings had a weird metallic taste. Maybe I have been watching too many episodes of Kitchen Nightmares, but I noticed how rundown the carpet was. The server was awesome tho, as were everyone else we came in contact with. Dessert was really what I had been looking forward to, you hear such good things about Amish pies…but I didnt know they topped them with Cool Whip. The crust was soggy and the chocolate had a weird taste. My kids didnt even like the chocolate cake…but it didnt matter what the kids thought, they were younger than everyone else in that place by at least 60 years.. The bread and peanut butter they gave to start off the meal was fantastic, and I was going to buy some peanut butter on the way out, but at $5 for 8oz and no ingredient label, I couldnt bring myself to buy it… Everyone was nice tho…
