Friendly staff and the bread was very good. It is a BYOB, so no alcohol at all on the menu. The eggplant Parmesan was swimming in sauce and very heavy on mozzarella. Vegetables are served in place of a side salad and the vegetables are generally sitting inside of the pool of sauce. Both of our dishes had a bowtie pasta with vodka sauce and vodka sauce was not part of either one of our dishes. When we said something, they said that we could have gotten any kind of sauce we want to but the menu doesn’t say that apparently the server was supposed to tell us and he didn’t. There are only 10 tables in this restaurant, the atmosphere leaves very much to be desired, and while the portions are huge, the food isn’t amazing for the prices that are being charged.

Tough Start, but lots of potential. My wife and I had dinner here on a Thursday night. When we walked in we noticed allot of paper ads in the front window which made it seem pretty casual. As we sat at our table, you can see they are trying to make it a more upscale restaurant with the cloth linens. Our first impression was our server that had an uncontrollable laugh (seemed young & immature). I asked for a beer menu and was advised they don’t have a liquor license but guests are welcome to bring there own booze. The menu had allot of options including expensive veal dishes but zero steak or other beef options. We ordered and shared a salad as well as the mozzarella & prosciutto appetizer which was pretty good. When the server brought out our entres we were shocked at the massive and messy portions that could easily feed 2-3 people. Beyond the huge portions, our biggest dissapointment was that they (tried to) put the side of pasta with tomato sauce and the green bean vegetable on one plate with the chicken entre that had a white wine and lemon sauce which filled the bottom of the plate. As a result, everything tasted like the lemon sauce. With a little more consideration towards portion sizes as well as the food presentation this could be a very successful and desirable restaurant in the Riverview area. We hope to return and try other dishes hoping things are a little better.
