Questionable service. I heard great things about this place so I was excited to try. However, our server today was forgetful and acted hungover. She had a slight attitude and I felt like I was burdening her. The food was good, but I’m not sure I would return based on the customer service I received today.
I love this place! The food is super fresh and service is fast. Healthy lunches with the right amount of spiciness.
Food is great but not atmosphere.. We have been to Ciccio Cali several times since it opened. We love the food and have tried several different items on the menu. Our only complaint is that it has always been cold in the restaurant. We shouldn’t have to wear a coat inside the restaurant. That has been true no matter what the outside temp is. The other thing that we didn’t like was the noise level. The music is too loud in an area that is poorly designed acoustically. The tile walls just bounces the sound and it is hard to have normal conversation. I can’t understand why restaurants have to have music that is not in the background. We will continue to go and hope that the weather is good enough to sit outside to avoid the cold inside and the loud music.
At Last…Healthy Food That Tastes Great!. This place is awesome, from the fresh, good-for-you food to the fabulous servers, it’s a very welcome addition to the Brandon area! We’ve been here many times, and the food/service are always consistent. When it first opened, we met Ryan McGough, a Ciccio Group Partner, and you can tell that he takes pride in running a first-class establishment. The Cali Fits are excellent, as are the StirFry dishes. Look forward to working our way through the menu!
Brazilian Blackened Chicken. I stopped in for first time yesterday. The bowl concept is that you have barley, rice, asian noodles, or spagetti squash to chose from as your base, and then add one of the items to that, and chose a sauce. I went with the noodles and the Brazilian blackened chicken bowl. Reminded me of piru-piru chicken with the crushed red pepper added to it! Really liked the garlic sauce!! Wow – now that was one fantastic sauce! Almost got the lime one – but glad I made my choice. There were several items I saw on the menu that looked very good – so definately will be back to see if another bowl is as good as this first try was!
Visiting from Virginia and I was very impressed by the excellent service and delicious food!!! Would defiantly recommend to everyone!!!!
Nice add for Riverview…. We’ve always enjoyed the Ciccio’s in Tampa and were excited to try the new location in Brandon/Riverview.My wife and I stopped in for a late lunch on a Friday afternoon. The menu is pretty consistent with the downtown location and the place is nicely done. I had the Spicy Brazilian bowl and my wife tried a stir fry. We shared each others dishes and they were both very flavorful. I believe the fast casual concept with California style cuisine is sure to do well in the area.My only complaint is that parking is inadequate. Perhaps it was because the area is still undergoing construction; but, finding parking was a real challenge. I could only imagine what it would be like on a busy Friday or Saturday night.
