Eating at Eats was a great experience overall. It was packed when I attended with my Mom and Stepdad, but good business typically means good food. I had fried Mac n’ Cheese – which was delicious. It was breaded perfectly and had a pleasantly cheesy core. As an entre, I ordered The Classic House Blend burger. It was tasty and cooked medium-well, just as I had requested. However, our entres took FOREVER. At around 40 minutes of waiting, my Stepdad flagged down the manager and asked if our food was near being ready (in an extremely rude way, unfortunately.) Despite this, the manager kindly apologized, immediately went to retrieve our food, and when he came back, he gave us a card for 10% off our next meal. To our surprise, we were also given a free dessert. Yum! Needless to say, we left happy. I will definitely be dining at Eats again and I have already recommended it to a few friends. Welcome to Brandon, Eats.

Service was good, was not really crowded at all, pretty nice atmosphere. I would come back in a heartbeat. The service is usually good here all the times we went.
I SO want this place to make it. However, food and service are below expectations. It all comes down to good management who knows what they’re doing. Whoever is managing their other location needs to get this location up to par fast….or it won’t last long. I agreed with most of the other reviews.
Started out with such promise …. It hurts me to write this review because I like EATS! but they have had problems since opening the Riverview location and tonight was (for me) the last time I will eat there until they get their act together. Wen there on a Monday evening with my two sons. We ordered simple items, I had the Beef on Weck (which is usually good) and the boys ordered basic burgers with simple condiments. One son wanted ketchup and mustard and the other ordered cheese, pickles, mayo and mustard. Simple stuff!.Having eaten here multiple times (I work in the area and we live close by), I am used to the kitchen being very very slow. Usually the complimentary chips and sauce hold us over but this evening they were not offered. By the time our food did arrive the two burger orders were wrong and the beef-on-weck was cold and mushy (as though it had been sitting while the burgers cooked). . Both burgers were missing condiments and we quickly called our server over to correct this. I watched as he headed towards the kitchen and then stopped at another table (which had just been seated) to chat with them and take their order. Meanwhile, my son’s and I sat there watching out food get cold while he took care of another table that had not yet experienced the lengthy wait we had. When the condiments finally did appear he failed to bring the mustard and then got defensive when I voiced my displeasure. .Somewhere along the line I realized we had never been provided set ups of napkins and utensils. I had to go and snag them from another table. Add to this that I had to ask for my drink three (3) times before it arrived. The only time our waiter was quick about anything was in bringing us the check. The tip was noticeably small and I took the time to spell out all of these issues in writing on the back. If I am going to spend that kind of money on burgers and a beer I may as well go down the street to Burger Monger and avoid the wait staff hassles. .They get two stars because I am giving them the benefit of a bad evening — even though it was a Monday and the place was certainly not full. They do have a fantastic beer selection and in prior visits the beer was good. BUT the service has always been poor. I will keep an ear out and if I start hearing that the service has improved I may be willing to give them another chance.
I was unimpressed with the overall atmosphere. To top it off the service was at best fair with the food being marginal. It’s too bad because this area needs a good restaurant.
Unprofessional and Childish Manager. We will NEVER go back to the place again! I took my family here not long after they opened. We were excited to have a new place to eat out our way. First let me say, our server was fantastic. That, however, is the only thing good I can say. The food took an extremely long time to come out. We tried to be patient because we understood they may be working out some kinks. In the time we were waiting for our food, we got up to talk to someone we knew at the bar. While standing there the manager came walking out of the kitchen and basically yelled at us to get out of the way (I got the impression he was a bit stressed). Later, after our food finally came out (about an hour and a half) AND some of it was actually cold, I decided to finally say something to the manager. The response I got was unbelievable. Instead of apologizing and trying to rectify the situation, all he did was make excuses about how the place was new and that the kinks should be expected. Also, when I mentioned to him that he was a bit rude earlier in the evening he got very defensive and started talking down to me like I was a kid. At one point he was actually giggling, I felt like I was back in high school and arguing with a girl friend. I have never been talked to like that by a restaurant employee in my life, much less, a manager. And, on top of all that, the food wasn’t that great.Ciccio Cali is WAY better and is less than a block away!
