Worst Jamaican Food Ever!. Came to this restaurant on a Friday night anxious to eat some good jamaican food. I read the reviews and just sure I was in for a treat. I was in for a treat alright! Geeezzzz … I have never tasted jamaican food this nasty! Geeezzzzz! I am puerto-rican and my husband is Jamaican. WE KNOW EXACTLY WHAT CARIBBEAN FOOD SHOULD TASTE LIKE! The rice was undercooked and bland. No taste at all! The jerk chicken was a joke! No seasoning at all! If you know about jerk chicken you’ll know you don’t use white meat. And what kind of jerk season was that?!!! Not one hint of spiciness of flavor whatsoever!!!! Are you kidding me?!!! They will never see me there again! Just NASTY NASTY NASTY!!! I can’t believe the reviews I saw in here … 4.5 stars? Are you out of your mind? These reviews must definitely have been written by people that have NO CLUE what jamaican food is all about! What a dissapointment!! Yuuuuuccckkkkkk!

Not a good first impression, i was going to leave when the man stoped us and apologised then told us whats on the menu. Patties amazing, brownstew chicken amazing, and oxtail amazing. place was clean and service which we recieved from the man that worked there made us feel at home.Looking forward to returning and i recommend

Something Different. In Tampa there is really only 1 Jamaican place I go to..Jerk Hut until I found this place. WOW, the flavor and spices burst at the very first bite. I have to agree that this is much better than the grilled chicken with sweet red sauce. The food was good, the price was great and the flavor was WOW. I will definitely be back.Ordered Jerk chicken, Ox Tail and Curry Paddy
AWESOME. The food was excellent, very nice and pleasant place. Give you enough food for the price I love how clean everything look. Services and food were superb. Will be back to try the Ox tail. Curry Chicken was good the season was just right not over powering.
Great goat and chicken curry . Meat so tender it falls off the bone, the spices are blended perfectly ! Yummy steamed vegetables and fried plantains on the side . Very affordable , only $7 for a to go size box lunch . Also, tasty Jamaican sodas to choose from.
Excellent Jerk Chicken. I found this place by accident right behind Hooters in Brandon. Excellent jerk chicken, not like some other Jamaican restaurants where they just grill/roast a chicken and throw on some jerk sauce at the end. They have a lot of other Jamaican items on menu that I haven’t tried yet, but also looked good. Order at the counter saves a few bucks per person on tips.
