Yikes. We have gone to the Oaks for years and enjoyed the laid back atmosphere. While the food was never sensational, it was consistent. We have been twice recently and the food was awful. The onion rings looked good, but had no flavor. The wings, always their best offering, were small, swimming in sauce and a few had no meat at all (maybe already eaten?). But to me the thing that isn’t working is the live music. You can’t blame Keith for the off tuned woman on a Casio with back up tracks (more like karaoke), but the place is just too small with bad acoustics for live music – it’s just too loud! Kudos to Keith for trying new things, but the old food was just better.
