POOR MANAGEMENT!!!. We love their food but their management stinks! Have gone to this restaurant twice now, before closing hours listed on the door, and this restaurant has been CLOSED!!! My husband just drove up their, guy mopping the floor, doors locked @ 7:45. Why do your hours say you are open until 9pm ?????????? May not return!!!!

I’ve had a Cuban sandwich there and it was ok but i wouldn’t go to a place with bad service no matter how good the food is. If you are in Brandon you should try this new place called Dos Manos. They have the best Cuban I’ve ever had, and they fries it comes with are very addictive. They are on south parsons ave. and oakfield across from the Brandon regional hospital. Try it out and you won’t be sorry. Plus they have good service.

Must Have Come At A Bad Time. Judging from the positive reviews posted here, I was terribly disappointed with the extremely poor food I received here this past Wednesday evening. I stopped in at 6:00 p.m to get two meals to go. I got the roast pork with white rice, black beans and ripe plantains and I got the ropa vieja with white rice, black beans and green beans. Slices of Cuban bread also came with the order. The price was very reasonable — $7.00 each — and the servings were very generous. However, the meal was almost inedible. The pork had no flavor, not even a hint of garlic, and the ropa vieja tasted like salt and green peppers. No doubt the strangeness of the flavors came from the food sitting in a steamer tray for who knows how long. The ripe plantains had no flavor and a wooden consistency and appear to be the pedestrian frozen plantains that hardly represents the delicious carmelized flavors and soft texture of a true fried ripe plaintain. Do I have to even mention that of course the green beans came straight out of a can, but whatever. Plus the black beans (which lacked seasoning) were dumped on top of the white rice making a big mess (if I wanted moros I would have asked for it). My latino husband could only eat the rice and beans and told me never to go there again! What a disgrace to Cuban food.
