They have Sapporro.. Need I say anything else? As a soldier that has been sent to Korea and Japan I can tell you from experience that the place has everything needed to feel like a legitimate in Asia market. It felt like walking into an Aeon when I came in. didn’t have my favorite Japanese or Korean candies, but they have Sapporro beer, and Kirin. Delightfully mind blowing for me.
The Publix of Asian Supermarkets. The new MD Oriental Market in Brandon looks amazing. Shopping at the one on Fowler will be so much harder after experiencing this MD. The walls shine brand new. All the aisles are perfectly clean, busy workers keeping them up for shoppers. The place is large and big enough for it’s clients. They have some sweet deals on food if you’re hungry…I can’t remember the exact price, but I’m pretty sure it was under $5 maybe even under $4? The roast duck looked really good. It is so clean it reminds me of a Publix actually and they even have these little stands with recipes so you can find what you’re looking for or maybe decide what to buy with their help. The workers are were friendly and the selection of things to buy was great as well. I found all my favorite Asian snacks. So happy to have this in town 🙂 carloseats.com
