Finally got to visit here after numerous recommendations from friends. Located next to a movie theater, it’s maybe not the perfect location.But the quality of the food and friendly service more than makes up for this. All dishes we tried were freshly cooked and made with quality ingredients, sorry but I can taste the difference between canned mushrooms and fresh and am happy to pay the extra, although the prices here were very reasonable and portions were big, so great value for money.Desserts are worth the visit alone, we will be back soon.

Pizza must have good sauce and mozzarella and the crust has to be crispy, not soggy. More Italian Bistro makes the sauce and pizza that way and its amore at first bite.There are NO GMOs in any of the ingredients that Marco uses, and he gets fresh ingredients delivered every day! The pizza dough and garlic bread are so light and tasty and you dont feel bloated like you do with other pizza at other restaurants.The tomato sauce for the crispy calamari was awesome and very light. The recipe has been handed down for 3 generations, so you know its from a real Italian Momma from Sicily.Everyone raved about the tomato bruchetta, and the balsamic reduction was so good, we couldnt get enough of them… so we had to get two more orders.So who makes Italian garlic chicken wings? They do, and they are really garlicy good!I cant believe how large the portion of eggplant parmigiana and lasagna were. It felt like I was eating at my aunt Frans on a Sunday afternoon. My Aunt Fran was a fabulous cook…and this was as good as hers.Just when I thought we were finished…they brought out more food.More Italian Bistro orders only the finest veal and its delivered daily. The veal piccata with fettucine was so tender you could cut it with a fork. And we finished off with a very nicely spiced succulent shrimp scampi with spaghetti.You would think that we would have to be dragged out in a barrel with all that food, but everything was extremely light so no one was overly stuffed.Marco makes his own desserts and they are just awesome. I remember my grandma from Sicily making her Italian cheesecake and this was so creamy and delicious, I kept thinking she would appear! They also make their own canoli cream and tiramisu, which were absolutely yummy!!There are so many items on the menu that are from their family recipes and thats what makes this restaurant so special. I cant want to go back for MORE!!
My husband and I came in one night after seeing a movie and were pleasantly surprised at how good the food is! Definitely the best pizza in town! Also they use homemade ingredients, no GMOs in the pizza which is great. Save your receipts and you can save 15% for you next visit!
Don’t Online Order. If you go on the website to look at the menu and you get tempted by their online order then you might want to rethink that idea. Ordered online and even got an order number and confirmation page but once we got to the restaurant, they stated they never received the order. Then, to make matters worse it would take about an hour to make the order. Why have an online order form if it will be a toss up if the restaurant actually gets the order.
The food here is amazing. Im impressed everytime I go. The problem with is that they don’t know what type of restaurant they are. Is it a full service sit down eatery or a quick typical pizza place? They seem to be a hybrid and as a consequence the service is horrendous and chaotic everytime I go. My wife and I have made a point to never dine in again but to only pickup out orders… However even that comes with service issues. Can’t say enough about the food though, cheesesteaks and stuffed pizza are the best I’ve ever had.
Not impressed!. The pizza was good at one time in the pass but the service absolutely sucks!!!! Always a long wait, never air condition or lights are on. You’re eating in a hot restaurant with the light only coming in from the window. Can I say cheap? I waited 30 minutes for 3 slices while everyone walking in got theirs before us, when I asked they said they made me a fresh one and it’s in the oven cooking, only to be served a re-cooked pizza and it was cold. How the heck is it cold and is supposedly just came out the oven and fresh!! Will never go back!!!!
I love the pizza here. I’ve been loyal since they changed over to more Italian. My family loves to go here!!! Best pizza in Tampa.
