Best bakery in town. Lots of choices of great sweet treats as well as sandwiches, breads, Cuban coffee, and now they offer lunch foods such as ropa vieja, scachatta, meat pies, salads, and lots of other good stuff. Unless you forgot and left your wallet at home, you won’t be able to walk out without buying something! It’sTHAT good! My brother-in-law comes all the way down from Dade City to eat here. He loves their Cuban coffee made fresh for each and every cup. It’s alsoa great place to congregate after church on a Sunday morning for a snack or for a complete lunch.

Almost ruined my son’s birthday. Had the WORST experience and best experience of customer service in a short time frame. Let me first start by saying I always go to el coqui bakery for custom cakes but this time I was short on time and tried Moreno’s Bakery…..I will NEVER EVER go back there. There is a lady named Susan who is the supposed owner and baker; she was extremely unprofessional and rude. Called my husband yesterday with a nasty attitude and only continued the attitude and un professionalism through out today (the day of my son’s party). She tried to charge about $80-$100 for a cake that looked like a kid made and then tried to tell us to never return b/c we didnt like it and told her about her attitude. Well after being so disappointed and with 40 mins left until the party we went to publix (which I would never typically do for a custom cake). Crying like a little baby n all b/c I was so mad and disappointed, a bakery lady named Jazmine calmed me down and with the help of her manager managed to make me a custom cake for much cheaper and with all the things my son wanted just in time for the party. She was able to turn my day around, get what I needed and wanted, and in such short time! I am forever grateful to them. And I reiterate, DO NOT GO TO MORENO’S BAKERY, If you are in the tampa/brandon area! There is much more to this story about how unprofessional Moreno’s Bakery was and how great publix employees were, but to put it all in writing would take me forever. Below is the supposed custom cake from Moreno’s Bakery.

Disorganization. Staff has no idea what Semite are, what they have in them, how much they cost, and NO PRICES displayed. It is the worst sham of a bakery I have EVER been to and believe me I have to been to bakeries all over the world. This place is a JOKE!!!14 Sep, 2014Cheap fillerd in pastries. It sucks, cheap fillers in many pastries, maybe some people do not realize this, but if they have ever eaten pastries from a GOOD bakery, they would realize how they are being duped. Also OVERPRICED. This place SUCKS!

Amazing. We stopped by here on Christmas Eve to get some muffins for Christmas morning. This place was packed with people and tons of different foods. We ending up getting some to sample now and some to have for the next day. They were all amazing. To try then we had the cannoli, carrot cupcake and the Almond Joy BonBon. They were all great. I liked the cannoli the best. To have for the next day we had a crumb cake, russian coffee cake, sticky bun and the guava & cheese bread. They were all good but I like the guava & cheese bread best. Super happy that we stumbled upon this bakery on our vacation.

Love the Upgrade!. I came to Tampa to visit my family for a week in December, my mom decided to surprise me and bring me here. I was so surprised to see the way this place looks now! When I was living in Tampa this place was a little whole in the wall bakery that my dad would buy cheese danish from (my favorite). It’s huge now and they have so many workers. We decided to have cubans so that my boyfriend who is from New York could try some real cubans. And they were of course delicious, I could only finish half of mine they were so huge. After words I got a blueberry danish, it was so flakey it just melted in my mouth. I also got a chance to look at all the other stuff they had. Huge cupcakes and mini cakes (cheesecakes, pinnapple upside down cakes, etc.) I was surper impressed and so proud that the community finally took notice of something so great!

Loved it. Will use them again.. Bought a chocolate mouse 8 inch cake for a last minute bring to for a Christmas party. The cake was beautifully decorated for the holiday and was a big hit. Everyone commented that the cake was supper moist and the layers of chocolate mouse were bite after bite of heaven. Well worth the price of $28.00 those of you who keep commenting on the prices I can easily say that even baking at home is very expensive my homemade cake some times cost me way more than $25 to make and this was delicious. The service was polite and quick even though they were slammed with business, love the lay out and very clean.
