Former bus boy here.. Just here to comment on the clendliness of the restaurant. The kitchen is spotless, they’re constantly cleaning it and is almost never cluttered. All the food is fresh and never frozen. The table tops in both dining areas are spray with a disinfectant and wiped down after the guests are done. Every chair, wall, table top, and soy sauce bottle gets cleaned thoroughly on friday nights.
This place is awesome. And the food is great. And the wait time isn’t long at all. I would for sure recommend this place to anyone.
Great Place. We like this place live right down the street and go often. It is kid friendly and the sushi is good. The service is good not over the top but they are very nice. the food comes out fast.
Not my favorite… Japanese Steak House. Inside the restaurant is very nice and clean. Before we went inside the restaurant they have a big banner hanging outside saying …Kids eat for free on Sunday with an purchase of two adults meals. So we order some sushi to start, the kids meals, then the two adults entree meals, both with chicken and salmon. I love my food and very picky. The fried rice has no taste and noodles were bland, the veggies are very salty but on a positive note, the salmon was good. that was the only thing i can eat. When our bill came, we were charge for one of our kids meal. …. when ask them about it, they said that’s what the Sign say. Wrong!!!!! Just one kid not kids. I told them that their sign said KIDS eat for free on Sunday with two adults meals. They didn’t seem to care. Very disappointed with the food and the service. Sorry but we’ll stick with Kobe and Ryuu.
This food ROCKS!!. No matter what time I have gone or if we sit at the grill or have take-out, the quality always is excellent. I highly recommend this place!
Dinner – I June 2013. I have lived in the Far East for the past 25 years and seven of those years in Japan, so I am very aware of authentic Japanese food. I had the Sashimi plate and the tuna was frozen not fresh and I was rather disappointed. My wife ordered the noodles with shrimp and the taste was very, very bland with no flavor. I ordered one beer and it was warm. If you are looking for authentic Japanese food then this is not the location.
Great addition to this area, the sushi is always very good. The habachi is great and very entertaining. The last 2 times we went to the sushi bar instead. The sushi Chefs do a great job and it’s delicious. However, the severs lack the typical service and people skills. It’s more of a robotic approach rather than trying to establish any rapport wih the customer. They just seem interested in selling. We will give the sushi bar another shot because it is very good sushi and conveniently located.
