I went to Taco Bus for the first time in January while I was visiting Tampa. It was fresh, delicious and an adorable atmosphere. The waitress was so sweet (we decided to eat in the restaurant as opposed to ordering from the bus…it was cold and rainy). Can’t wait to go back!
Disappointed. My husband and I recently visited for the first time and were very disappointed in our food. I had the carne asada burrito. The burrito had TONS of meat on it, but was flavorless, and chewy. My husband had the fish tacos and thought they were bland. The tres leches cake was the best part of our meal!Quite disappointed.
Service was great! The food was delicious and very flavorful. Loved the shrimp taco and the pork was great. Give them a try, yummy!!!

It might be good for some people but it was definitely not for me. For a name like ‘taco bus’ you would assume they serve the basics that even Taco Bell has but they don’t serve nachos or have queso dip which to me are basically two main menu staples of any Mexican/ tex mex restruant … And honestly the flavors and quality of meat leave a lot to be desired. I ordered the flan for dessert and what I got was a tiny cup of custard that was very bland tasting. I doubt that I will be returning any time soon.
The perfect taco. $3 for one small taco seemed a bit much at the time… but it was the perfect taco.
Dropped in for a late lunch on a Saturday. The place is off the beaten path a bit but was certainly busy. We placed our order at the bus and took a seat inside. The seating area is spacious and was very clean in spite of being packed with people. The food arrived piping hot in a matter of minutes. The menu is the same as the other locations but I will say that having visited a few Taco Bus locations the consistency is often off the mark from one location to the next. That wasnt the case here, the food was every bit as good as the original location. Good eats and I’ll certainly be back.
