Delicious in a New York Minute. My coworker and I have driven by The New York Diner on SR 60 at least a dozen times whilst seeking out a lunch-time location. Little did we know, we had been passing up a Brandon gem.Upon entering the diner, the aromas of eggs, coffee, and hashbrowns infiltrated my nostrils. There were a wide range of patrons, from young families to retirees, seated in booths, tables, and at the kitchen counter.The appearance and feel of the restaurant was a cross between the homey, inviting feeling of a Waffle House and the classic vintage decor of Steak n’ Shake. We were greeted with a smile within 30 seconds of opening the door, at which time the friendly waitress invited us to take a seat anywhere in the restaurant.We selected a cozy booth next to a window, where our waitress introduced herself and asked for our drink orders immediately. When she came back, we were having a hard time deciding between all the delectable menu items, but she was very pleasant and gave us additional time to decide.After going with the Gyro Platter (which is what we both selected), it was only a matter of a minute before our side salads were placed in front of us. They were fresh and gorgeously adorned with crisp red onion rings, kalamata olves, cherry tomatoes, and feta cheese. A cup of dressing was served on the side. Before we could even finish our salads, our meals arrived. The salad was just scratching the surface of scrumptious food that was to come. The gyro was well-flavored, warm, and tender, served on a soft pita and laced with a creamy, delicious tzaziki sauce.I have to say, I was skeptical about this place, especially skeptical of how a gyro was going to taste at a place that serves breakfast all day. There was no part of me that left disappointed! It was a great experience all around. The waitress even offered us each a to-go cup for our beverages! We will most certainly be coming back for seconds!
I love this place. The breakfast and lunch are both really good. The wait staff are always nice and friendly. And, you can’t beat all day breakfast.

Sunday breakfast tradition! As a family who is always on the run, it’s nice to get a quick and fresh well made breakfast that isn’t too pricey. Whether we’re in and out that day or we’re enjoying breakfast as a family, the service is always there catering to us with a smile. I have no complaints about anything. Awesome awesome awesome !
