Don’t know why its coming up as 3 but it’s certainly a 5. As my home state is Louisiana this place does a wonderful job !!! Food is fantastic staff was great. They did a Louisiana native proud!!!
Had so many people recommend this place we had to try. We’ve been to the multiple restaurants that have previously located this space so were not expecting too much.We both love N’Orleans and Cajun food and were pleasantly surprised. Great service, good drinks and a nice cross-section of dishes. Everything we tried we loved and can’t wait to come back.New local favorite!!!
Unquenched New Orleans Mardi Gras celebration pour through the eatery, eerie scenery.Po boy sandwich, catfish fillet, fried, sweet potato on the side, lightly seasoned hit the table, quickly eaten, no small nibble.Creole decor tattooed walls, giant fist invade the hall, grasping the severed heads of elated clowns, unanticipated takedowns.Painted lattice secured to ceilings as to recreate the stairwell to heaven, divine dealings.Po boy sandwich, catfish fillet, fried, sweet potato on the side, lightly seasoned hit the table, quickly eaten, no small nibble.Seven pieces of lightly fried flaky flour puffs powder our finger tips, beignets, courtesy of the white, red, and bleu.Monetary sacrifice of $$ to $$$.Like street art? We have been many times since Tibby’s opened. They are our new favorite place to eat! I’m addicted to the Catfish Po’Boys and my husband has tried most every other meal they offer and has enjoyed every one!The staff are always attentive and friendly and we always spot something new in the decor!
Service and friendliness gets a 5. Our waitress was very helpful and attentive. She made sure we knew what was in our dishes and that we would be happy with the ingredients. Out of 3 dishes, two were excellent. Cajun chicken pasta with blackened chicken was amazing.. The Chicken florentine pasta was bland with the chicken a little over cooked, however staff happily offered to get us something else and took critique like champs. This is a rare place for Brandon, full of character and atmosphere with a menu you won’t find anywhere else nearby. I am looking forward to trying more things! The prices were definitely reasonable. Keep up the good quality and friendliness and Tibby’s will do great I am sure.
In Tampa area. What to eat. Friends know that we can pass on any Restaurant except a NOLA Creole place. Tibby’s is a visual feast with all sorts of authentic New Orleans memorabilia and pictures. The food matches the visual feast with authentic Cajun-creole cuisine. We had Boudin balls as an appetizer and our mains were Cajun Shrimp Pasta and Eggplant casserole. Full bar with a light to dark beer selection on tapFriendly fast and attentive staff. Can be very busy. Good for couples, small and larger groupThis is a three location micro-chain. Home base is in the Orlando areaChillin Cajun Style chilltravelers.com
Very busy place. Took a few minutes for someone to acknowledge me and to place me on the waiting list, however well worth the wait!! Super large portion size and pretty good food. Love the atmosphere. I think this place is a one of a kind in the Brandon area. It’s a little different than your regular chains
