Does not know customer service if it hit them over the head. The $4.00 mistake a business should never make. Food is good but its the same menu all the time. They dont want to accommodate for food allergies and will double charge you to get a sandwich without nuts and the price comes with a rude attitude. You just notice an extra sandwich on the bill when you are in a large party. Why as a company would you lose repeat business over $4.00? Wrong is wrong, so I will band this Tea House for life and so are my friends. This tea house is also not consistent with their process one lady tells us we can pick from variety of teas on the menu and when its time to try a new tea the next lady states we made an exception to bring more than one type of tea to the table the first time around. There is a long story to the service received that day and this is the short version. Sad thing is I have given this tea house a lot of business over the years and to lose it over a double charge not up charge for sandwich to replace the one my friend could not eat plus charged for the old one. And they charged it to me when we all had separate bills. They lady said because I asked for it! The $4.00 mistake. Priceless$
We went yesterday for Mother’s Day High Tea. First time there, cute little place, food was great, especially the chicken and wild rice soup, tomato bisque soup, chicken salad on croissant , cucumber sandwiches, mini spinach quiches and the white chocolate cinnamon chip scones. My only complaint was how long it took. We got seated at 1:30 and didn’t get finished until almost 4:00. Would definitely recommend though!
The BEST!. Their pumpkin soup is just amazing. I wish they had it all year round. The scones and cream are dreamy too. I do wish they offered more than one tea choice with high tea though. Besides that, they are just wonderful. A hidden gem in Brandon.
I made an account just to rate it!. I love this tea room. I have been to many tea rooms, but this is by far my favorite. I think the set up of the restaurant is splendid, and they have the most beautiful china. The food is amazing! There is not the widest selection of food, but there doesn’t really need to be because you will always want to get the same few things each time because what they do have is delicious. The people are also very sweet. They are definitely not snobby or rude; one of the ladies there even sings in the choir at my church. Overall, its a great place to go for everyone. I have even dragged my fiance there a couple of times and he likes it too. =)
This is an absolutely fabolous time. I’m torn between writing this review and finishing my Paris tea. The sandwich treats are delicious. This is a great place to meet friends and catch up. The atmosphere and decor second to none.
We had such a nice time! The food was wonderful! The creamy chicken and wild rice soup was fabulous. They were also able to cater to my sister’s dairy free and vegetarian needs. They just need a bit of advance notice. Some of the best food I have had since moving to the Brandon area. The servers/owners were so sweet. Fun for a girls day. Would like to have tried more tea flavors. We will be going again soon!
