Excellent Japanese diner. Sat at the bar, promptly greeted by the sushi chefs, waitress brought my water expeditiously, and my order was taken in under 10 minutes. Excellent soup, both dragon and California rolls were exquisite, teriyaki chicken bento box delivered before I had finished the sushi. All food was warm and tasty, much recommend.
THE best sushi in Pensacola, hands down. We eat at Ichiban several times a month and are never disappointed. We have tasted the best reviewed sushi in many major cities and Ichiban holds it’s own up there with the great restaurants. Try the AJ roll… If it doesn’t have you making noises of food joy, then your taste buds are dead. 🙂
No thanks. The hubby and I went to dinner here once. We both ordered sushi and egg drop soup. Soup was good and sushi was ok. It was very overpriced for what you get and when it came out, it was mainly filler in the roll with hardly any fish. I ordered a tuna/avocado roll. and it was 2/3 avocado. The sushi fell apart when eating it. The service was slow, our waiter rarely checked on us, and the tables were so close together that it made it loud and cramped. The food was ok but I find no reason to return here.
SUSHI at it’s BEST. Dine-in or take-out, Ichiban is the best in Pensacola. Red Dragon Roll and Cambodia Roll are my favorites. So fresh and perfectly put together by Lin and his staff.
Look out! This place is a triple threat!. This is the best sushi in Pensacola, in my opinion, as well as the best service and the best atmosphere!The dressing for their ginger salad is so amazing! I have to restrain from pouring over all the rest of my food! I’ve tried many of their rolls, but the best by far is their Red Diamond Roll! It is an absolutely perfect blend of flavors and textures! The sit-in atmosphere and service is fantastic. Traditional booths where you remove your shoes and a hot towel for your hands and face! Wonderful atmosphere and terrific service!The servers are always kind, polite, knowledgeable, and helpful! Tonight I went in around 715 for a to-go order and the hostess was the sweetest! She managed to juggle my indecision, take care of those around me, hold a very encouraging conversation, all the while smiling so sincerely. My food was ready in just a few minutes. This really is a wonderful establishment.
