Normally a go-to for sushi in the area. Lately, their prices seem higher, and their roll quality seems slightly lower with poor fish to rice ratio. We have better luck with the normal, run of the mill rolls, than getting their specialty rolls. Their non-sushi options are always great though! Staff is average, not overly polite.
Updating a review from four years ago which I stated Ichiban was our favorite sushi in the Pensacola area. Unfortunately after our last two visits, this is no longer the case. Both times sushi rolls not tight, easily fell apart and sadly fishy! Assume it must be the eel (my favorite) that has been fishy the last two visits. I haven’t said anything to the staff on either occasion but for any sushi eater out there is fully aware, fresh sushi should NEVER taste fishy! Been coming here for year’s, but unfortunately we are now in search for a new sushi restaurant.
