Been here several times and somehow up to this point, it has escaped my attention to do a review, and I am not sure why. I have always loved the food here, and before places like Taco Mex, Taqueria Olgy’s and El Asador opened up they were the best if not only place to get good authentic mexican food in town. The food is always fresh and from what I can tell, is all made from scratch. There is no imitation food here. I have had several of the menu items and have not been let down yet, make sure to try the tamales that are not on the menu (at least they weren’t when I went last).It is in a part of town that is a little rough around the edges and the building is old and run down looking from the outside, I will admit. I have said it many times before, some of the best food is found in places like this. They for sure look better from the outside than El Asador and I have been there a bunch of times. Go ahead…..get in your car and go. You will be glad you did.-B-
Very good food and absolutely authentic. Unfortunately that includes no air conditioning, and a very run down looking building.The chicken burrito and hard taco both two thumbs up. Warning the almost clear sauce is very hot.
Good food. Could be a little cleaner and in a better building, but honestly you can beat the price and the food. Good place for a quick lunch.
What a dump. Food was lousy. Like a run down Mexican joint next to the Mexican border in South Texas. Prices aren’t that good either. Never again!
Buena Comida. I love Mexican food and eat it often. However, I’ve never had tacos as good as Taco Rock’s. This little hole in the wall has the most authentic Mexican food I’ve ever tasted. The prices are nice & the staff even nicer. Definitely worth a try!

The best. Im from cali ….i love this spot ..i drive 45min ..im not for here and some on told me you miss this place is the first place in the last 7 years that had the rices drink and the meat i wanted on my taco …im from navarre and i love el patron but i told them we need what taco rock…. has ..they told my that the wight people …dont whant soapes and my rice drink …love you taco rock …i live in navarre and im wight with 2 mixen boy and we will drive past el patrons so get some real food
