We have given the Carrabba’s chain several tries over the years with the last being at the Merritt Island location. The food is mediocre and over priced. There are many other Italian restaurants in the area which are more reasonably priced with tastier food.
Bad Experience at Carry-out. I like the food at Carrabba’s and the food was good as always tonight. However, I feel like I was ripped off by the server working in carry-out. I had a $50 gift card, which I know had $17 and some change left on it, because I had just used it the night before at Outback. The server at Outback told me what was left on the card and even gave me the receipt showing it. The server at Carrabba’s told me the card only had $11 on it and I was forced to fork out more cash. I didn’t really give it much thought at the time, but when I got home, I was not happy. Sure enough I checked the receipt from Outback and it was $17. I feel cheated. The service, not the food, left a bad taste in my mouth. I don’t think I will be eating there again anytime soon, but if I do, I will make sure to monitor things more closely. I am glad I paid in cash and not by card. I should complain to the manager, but I’m not that hard up. I do believe in karma though, so I hope this person regrets what they did and changes their ways.
Good, but salty. My wife and I ate at Carrabba’s mostly because we had a gift card but also because we like the place. I had the Pork Tenderloin, she had the Linguini with Clams, and we both split a quartino of blackberry sangria and a Tiramisu dessert. Both main courses were tasty but a bit too salty for us. The sangria and Tiramisu were completely enjoyable. Our server, Niasha, was great.
