Lousy food!. Had eaten their prime rib special several months back and it was outstanding! Tried it again tonight, service was terrible, waited 20 min to order and another 30 to get food. Food was cold and less than palatable, Very disappointed!
Brime Rib. Went there for Prime Rib day. It was no bargain at 21 & 24 dollars. The Rib was fatty and not enjoyable, but my dog loved it. Breakfast is a better choice there.
Excellent Scallops. Hats off to PSB on the scallop special – fresh seared sea scallops, spinach, sundried tomatoes over pasta in a LIGHT cream sauce – the combination of flavors and scallops DELISH! AND the carrot cake is exceptional. Definitely worth the 30-mile drive in the pouring rain!
I recently started coming back here and now look forward to going every chance I get. Servers are cheerful and polite, nice atmosphere. Food is fantastic and they have a long list of interesting daily specials. Wish they would post them on Facebook so I could see in advance.
Not Cool. We have been many times for breakfast ,Always been very good. Out and about we heard a radio add promoting a customer favorite steak special, Sounded great so we gave it a shot .Bummer, Saturday night, 7:30 not busy,everyone seated had already been served. Ordered two apps, Twenty minutes later our server brought them and said she was about to have to cook them herself ,Weird since all the noise coming from the kitchen could be heard in the dining room. Apps were good, Caesar salad was next, good dressing but the chopped up piece of marble rye on top killed it, i guess they were a weird version of a crouton. Entrees next. Roasted squash ok, Roasted potatoes were killed and both steaks were so tough a steak knife had no effect. Reason being both steaks cut from very end of the strip. These cuts are for well done or stews. not med-rare temps. all food arrived on one plate so when cutting was attempted food went everywhere. I’m a big fan of large portions but not all one one plate. When we said the steaks were tough our server said she would be happy to have them cooked more, ???? How would that help? Oh-well by now i didn’t care. When we were brought our check we were told if i had a complaint about the steaks to write it on the comment card. That blew my mind. Since i am a chef myself i hope this makes it in to the right hands because the bistro truly is a great spot.
One and DONE. Came here for brunch. Wife had breakfast and I attempted lunch. Fries cold. Sandwich sloppy. Waited 30 minutes for our meals. Staff has an attitude. Won’t be back.
Has something changed?. We’ve been here for breakfast and lunch a couple of times and always had good food and service. We stopped yesterday for breakfast and it was a disaster. One omelet was burnt and the other was under done and runny. The service wasn’t good. Since I didn’t recognize a single person on staff I suspect that something has changed. I doubt that I will be back.
