Friendly and good service. Relaxed atmoshere with life music and good and tasty food. Sitting on the Indian River side is very nice esspecially when you are sitting with your family. My wife had the 5oz Grouper which was vey tasteful. Myself had the Rustic Prime Rib Sandwich which was great.
Gave it three tries. It has an amazing view, the sign looks nice and the menu sounds good when you read it. The first time it was a Chamber event and they served appetizers. They were terrible and couldn’t even it them, Second time a friend invited out for dinner and wanted to try it out. The food was okay, the service was bad. The third try was the worst. We had a out of town Doctor giving a lecture, there were about 30 of us and one waiter. I can’t begin to tell what a bad experience it was. Appetizers were cold, the soup was cold and our entree was cold. We waited so long for everything. All of the guests water glasses were empty and so were their drinks. I got up to find the manager to ask him to please help. They finally brought in the bartender and host. I am sorry but I will not return and do not recommend it.
Great Venue. Best riverfront outdoor dining in Melbourne. Menu has wonderful variety and the food is all excellent.
Went for dinner last night and was happy about 1 thing the view. I had the MBLT and the M got lost under the oversized bread it was served on and my fries were cold and wimpy as were the other 2 people I was with. But like I said the view was great next time drinks and view will work out much better and by the way what’s the 3% service fee they just tack onto your bill ???! Was that for the view???
Wasn’t impressed. The servers outside were not friendly until it was time to pay the check… also, my husband and I both ordered a strawberry mojito, and there was so much packed, crushed ice in each short rocks glass that it took one sip to finish. We brought it to the bartender’s attention and he said it’s the manager’s new instructions for how to make the drinks. We asked to speak with the manager and he said there was nothing he could do. Drinks were 9 bucks each. One sip? No… went back a few months later to try our luck… all we got was a table near a bunch of servers talking crap about guests at the table next to us. Class all the way.
They scrimp on food. Got three shrimp and one scallop in the most expensive entre on the menu. When I said something about it the waiter bristled. Of course I got to pay for it anyway, no additional food.
Easter brunch. Our family went to River Rocks for the Easter buffet. Service was just okay. Plates were cleared but coffee refills had to be asked for. The food for the most part was good. However, desserts were very disappointing. Store bought cookies and brownies from a box mix did not seem suitable for a restaurant proud of their reputation. Given the price of the buffet, with coffee and tea extra, we would not return.
