Pescatore was awesome, but not the place for a couple’s conversation.. My wife and I go here a couple times a year. She gets the Pescatore every time. I used to as well, but it had become so inconsistent (watery, not fresh, etc.). This night, it was fantastic. 1/2 price wine (closer to retail). Total bill ended up around $75. Cons: Service was just ok…and paper napkins, really? Also, seems to be more noise (closer tables) than in the past.
My favorite place to eat Italian. Creative specials and a great regular menu also. Owner is usually there and makes us feel welcome. Excellent wine list!
Reservation took a back seat.. Reservation for 4 at 6:00. Arrived and waited 5 minutes. Next group reservation time 6:15. We noticed an empty table awaiting and we figured that was ours. Wrong….it went to the party of 6 who had a 615 reservation and we had to wait for a table in the other room. We suggested the hostess move the party of 6 to the other room and she looked at us like we had 2 heads. Not very professional. As we waited in the doorway of the other room there were many large tables available for the party of 6 and she cleared a table way back next to the bar for our party of 4. Food was not up to par. Do not bother. Better service and food available at other Italian restaurants in the Melbourne area.
Nothing Special. Been to this Italian restaurant a half dozen times or so, have yet to find anything to rave about. Service is OK, no real ambiance. I went in once early on a Saturday night and when I ordered meatballs, I was told that they were sold out of meatballs – really? An Italian restaurant that runs out of meatballs at 6:30 in the evening? Go across the street to Publix, buy the ingredients and start making them – unless of course you’re getting them pre-made and packaged from your wholesale supplier? If you want genuine Italian and you are in this neighborhood, drive past Tuscany Grill and go one strip mall over to Amici’s, they won’t run out of meatballs and no matter what you order you will be pleased.
Love this place. I really like that placethe food is excellent, unblievable staff. it is a real pleasure to spend the evening there in absolute comforthad the tuna yesterday. awesomelot of my business associates are absolutely thrilledkeep up the good work
Overpriced, Not great food. I got a seafood dish with clams, scallops, shrimp over linguine with marinara sauce. Clams were not fresh,(I ate one, left the others) one scallop I had to spit out (tasted awful). They packed up my leftovers but I just tossed it when I got home (I don’t even know why I took it with me). My husband got a sample pasta dish with a meatball, eggplant, sausage etc. Bill was $50.00. Very overpriced, quality of food subpar. Will not go back.
I have Pro and con to sayabout Tuscany Grill. Pro. I visited for the first time this past sunday and The DJ was very good and personable and did a good job. I was poured an exceptional glass of wine and I was very happy to see that. Most times you get a pour of a half a glass. The place was verybusy and many peoplewho were in their own groups were very friendly.CON.I have a business in melbourne and today one of my customers shared with me he and his wife were unsatisfied with service and the pour of wine at their table.Seems they felt the bartender/server seemed to over pour the wine with people she knew. I ask the server to bring a small bowl of grated cheese to put on my pasta I never got it.thenthe food is served to the gentleman before the woman. And to top it off the bill get’s put at the place setting of the woman. It was insulting and rude.I want to return and I hope the service is improved and the pour is the same.
