I will never know if the food is tasty. We arrived at 235 pm and the hostess informed us that they would not seat is because they closed at 3. We will never go back. There are many other options with better customer service skills.

WOW! First visit – Great food, great service. The gift shop and comfortable chairs make it easy to wait for a table. The wait list is professionally managed and guest requests are met with a smile and willingness to please from all parties. Well done Florida Cracker Kitchen!

I am now jealous of people that live in Brooksville! Took a drive today from Land O Lakes to try Florida Cracker Country for a lazy Sunday Brunch and the verdict is YES PLEASE AND CAN I HAVE SOME MORE.Reading online, we knew ahead of time it was cash only and to be prepared for a wait. It’s not that difficult people. Hit up the Atm and chill in the bar till your table is ready. Next door is an awesome craft beer bar and gift shop. Not feeling beer? Have a mimosa or sangria. The staff is beyond friendly, and they dont hollar at you when your table is ready, they communicate via walkie talkie to staff members to let you know. The place is small but cozy with inside and outside seating. It’s soo full of Florida Cracker charm and hospitality I was beside myself. LOVE IT. I ordered the shrimp n grit cakes with tomato gravy AND I LICKED MY PLATE. I also had an order of the corned beef hash because I read they make it fresh every morning. It was also delicious. I also ordered a side biscuit and tried the kumquat jam (super sweet!) and the Florida honey (yum). It was a huge fluffy biscuit and when I return I need to try the sausage gravy. Next time! Hubbie had the Cattle Drive burger which he devoured while drinking local craft beer. We returned to the bar next door for another round before heading home.Im still thinking about the shrimp n grit cakes and the florida cracker charm and how I wished something like this was in my neighborhood. Bravo Brooksville, bravo.

We went this morning for breakfast…just heard about iton the local radio stationwe live in Spring Hill. 13 miles away..it was well worth the tripit was, the BEST!!!!NEVER had corned beef hash this goodwe’ll be going back and try dinner here

Great place. Really attentive staff that wants to make you comfortable and happy. Usually a line to get in, but your drinks can be had on the porch while you wait, mingle, and make new friends. Smoked mullet dip – who knew it could be so tasty. Crab cake – very good. Actually, the only missteps in our meal were overdressed salads and a kumquat pie too sweet for our liking- others may find it perfect. The whole experience was enjoyable. If we lived here we’d be regulars for sure.

Dinner Friday & Saturday. The Florida Cracker Kitchen is now open for dinner Friday & Saturday. Just ate there this evening. Let me tell you the shrimp and grits were absolutely amazing! The way they were prepared was the best I have ever had. The house salad was excellent with the walnuts. I would highly recommend this restaurant. For the area it is something different from the ordinary.
