I have been going here for years! Amazing Food and Service! I can’t go to Brooksville without going here for lunch.
This is one of the best little secrets on earth! If you are in this neighborhood you’d be crazy not to try This eatery! We’ve been there a few times now and it just keeps getting better! Great pressed Cuban. Nice & friendly staff. Excellent food!

WOW !!!. Five Star Quality hidden in the city streets of Brooksville at fast food franchise prices. As great as the food quality was it does not compare to the service . Everyone I came in contact with treated me like the neighbor next door and I have never laid eyes on any of them before today. The owner blended in with the staff and took part in every aspect of taking care of her guest during my entire visit . While waiting for my lunch to be prepared I met a number of the personnel . One in particular introduced herself as Peggy and she was as pleasant as she was beautiful, nearing the end of my meal I asked her to please compliment the owner for me only then to learn that (Peggy )is actually Mrs. Bell. ( THE OWNER) The success of this restaurant was self explanatory from that point on. Best Regards. Mike Henderson
I went to enjoy another great lunch here. Peggie’s Special was just that – a special sandwich. With a variety of cold cuts, tomato, lettuce, onions, banana peppers – it was delicious! The side I had this time was their homemade potato salad – very good, too. Even their unsweetened iced tea was great. This time I ordered the Blueberry Ice pie – to take home to my son. I did taste a little of it – it did take some willpower to resist gobbling all of it down. However, if my son does not eat it – it is mine!25 May, 2013Delicious. I finally visited the Main Street Eatery in Brooksville, FL just this past Friday afternoon. I ordered something I usually do not – Corned Beef on Rye. My side was Black Beans over Yellow Rice; plus, I had a lemonade. It was so good that I seemed to inhale my food – I will have to slow down next time. Service was fast and friendly. I turned down desert this time around (which was very difficult considering how nice the person who offered it was), but, maybe, next time. Great place to eat and relax.

Consistently Good!. Main Street Eatery has never disappointed me. The energy is welcoming, the food is satisfying, appetizing and served with a positive attitude. It’s consistently good! And when I’m hungry – that’s all that matters.
