Enjoyable. Our experience at The Tilted Teacuo was very enjoyable. The food was delicious and the waitstaff was so friendly and helpful. The tea was very very good. Decor for the most part was really cute. I have only one negative and that is OUR table did not have a tablecloth nor did it have placemats. Other tables did have tablecloths. It was so nice an experience except for the bare table. I hope that they read the feedback and take care of it…. I will return again because everything else was excellent and hope for a better table..
Absolutely fabulous find….I can’t believe it is in Brooksville! Went for lunch with a friend on a weekday, and the place was packed. I had not made a reservation, but was happy that they found a table for us. The two page list of teas is amazing. I can’t have caffeine, and they had several herbal teas to chose from on their lists. I ordered a salad and quiche. The salad was very good with a vinaigrette dressing. It had fresh fruit and dried cranberries…my type of salad! The quiche was to die for … a spinach and sun dried tomato dish that I was skeptical about until my first bite. I loved the tea pot that they give you that is warmed with a tea light and small warmer. I am not a huge fan of carrot cake, but I ordered it anyway, hoping for the best. I sure am glad that I did! The best carrot cake I have ever had in my life…I think I am a fan now. My tea was cafe au caramel. I ended up buying some when I left. They sell their loose leaf teas, and the price is not too bad. (I bought some on amazon as soon as I walked in my door.) The waitress was very friendly and provided excellent service. I will be going back again. I can’t wait to take my daughter there for her birthday; what a treat! And in Brooksville …still can’t get over that one!
My friend and I went there yesterday. We had the High Tea for Two. One of the finest tea experiences I have ever had. I am from New Jersey and have gone to tea rooms all over New Jersey Manhattan and Connecticut. This was a delight! Outstanding food and service. The Pumpkin soup gets 5 stars and they even have individual tea pot warmers that the pot sits on with a tea light inside each to keep your tea hot for the duration. That was the first time I have ever seen that done. brilliant! I will definitely be back and I hope it is soon. it is truly a beautiful place with cozy Victorian/shabby chic decor. there is a gorgeous massive oak tree in the middle of the parking lot too. Highly recommend a visit here and bring your appetite! You will not be disappointed!
Gracious gesture. Drove from Tampa all the way upto Brooksville to checkout the blueberry festival and we accidently walked/drove onto Tilted Teacup as it had a sign for parking. As we didnt find anyone outside to pay for parking, we went inside and was pleasantly surprised to see a neat, nice and cozy little foyer. The lady behind the desk checked with someone who I believe was the owner and he came to us and said it’s late in the day, dont have to pay the parking fee! he was such a gentleman and asked us to come back again. Since we had just about an hour to go before the blueberry festival was closing down, didnt get to sit down and have tea from there – however, next year we will be back at tilted tea cup. Thank you for showing us a glimpse of the southern hospitality – our kids enjoyed the festival.
